Florida Board Certified intellectual property and trademark attorney Jorge Espinosa was quoted in a cover story in the Miami Herald’s Business Monday about the new legal opportunities arising from American companies that want to do business in Cuba after President Obama announced the normalizing of relations between the two countries in December 2014. Espinosa, who has registered trademarks in Cuba for American firms, said he has received a lot of inquiries about trademark registrations since President Obama’s announcement but that companies are still cautious about big investments in getting their brands registered.
