Founding Member Jorge Espinosa was quoted as an expert source in a story entitled ‘Miami Attorney on Protecting American IP’, a special section about the status of normalizing relations with Cuba which published in the South Florida Business Journal and its sister publications, the Tampa Business Journal and Orlando Business Journal. Espinosa first established a business presence in Cuba in the late 1990s working around the embargo through concessions in the interest of protecting American intellectual property. He discussed current obstacles and encourages business people to visit the island in person to gauge the potential for their own industry.
